I'm starting to think that maybe blogging is not for me. It has already been more than two weeks that we've left Holland and I still have a lot of trouble making myself sit behind the computer and write. The problem is that I'm new at this, I don't know what to tell and what not to tell... Here's my best effort:
It has been 16 days since I got on a plane and left... I miss the city. I miss it a lot. I've always loved Amsterdam; the small buildings, the different cultures, the people, the bikes, the 'gezelligheid' and most off all the vibe. It was my home, it still is.
Buenos Aires is so different. It's a huge city, it's full of people, full of cars, full of dirt, full of anger and worst of all full of fear. People on the streets don't make eye contact. They just walk head down and are always care full. It's so sad to see.

The beauty of Buenos Aires is in the parks where people lie in the sun, where the birds sing and where the mighty Ombu tree grows for over hundreds of years...
The city has brought us different things.
We've had nice evenings listening to music with my cousins and their friends...
We've been dancing to Reggeaton music until the sun came up...
We've made love in small hotel rooms...
We've had super breakfasts with 'milanesas al pan'...
We've been sitting on the streets so Dennis could play HAPI drum and yes he even earned some money with it...
We've had terrible rides in Combi's...
We've seen piquetes come and go...
We've even witnessed the death of Argentina's ex-president Nestor Kirschner...
We've had nice family lunches...We've had delicious Duce de leche ice cream...
Yes, Buenos Aires has been good to us!

Now it's time for a new city, new memories and new people... Sunday at noon we'll be at Retiro to get on the bus for the next adventure... Bariloche here we come!!!
